Mentors differ from teachers in several ways. We will advise you as part of the cg family. We will be your advocates.

All of our mentors are here because we want to offer helpful advice to address the unique and nuanced needs of a developing dancer. Navigating challenging situations and making difficult decisions can be much easier with a mentor who understands. We have the experience and knowledge of “the business” and insights into the decision-making process of schools and companies. If we feel you would match well with certain companies or schools, we will help connect you because it is beneficial to everyone.

We are not going to try to fit you into a “box.” We are here to encourage you to find your unique voice. We will share our honest perspectives about what it is like to be a professional dancer and some important realities of company life. Most of all, we will be rooting for you.
